Hi and sat nam - this has been a year of big change - and I am adding to it! I have decided to change the workshop list I sent out a few weeks ago.  The topics are the same or similar but ALL of them will be presented using  Kundalini Yoga techniques and technology.

I love the many forms and styles of Yoga but I am most connected to Kundalini Yoga.  If you have tried it you may love it or feel frustrated by it.  It can seem weird or whacky (some call it Kunda-Loonie) and this is true.  It is also wonderful, fast acting, fun, joyful, and stimulating to the body and mind.  It will challenge you where you need to be challenged - it may ask you to move more slowly or more quickly than you want, it may ask you to sit or to stand when you want to do the opposite.  It may ask you to chant and feel the vibrations within you when you have been told you cannot sing.  BUT it accepts you wherever you are!  Your heart will be opened, your immune system boosted, and your mind calmed.

There are six workshops or special classes: three Friday eves, two Saturday mornings, and one all day event which includes a vegetarian light noon meal.

Attend one or all, special pricing is offered and all are at price levels to suit everyone!

Share the information as you wish and if you can.  There is a minimum and a maximum for the workshops.

Pre-register and pre-pay to assure a space.

all will be at Health Within Holistic Centre, 500 B Queen Street, Charlottetown

love, Ruth

Biff says about the course:
"Storytelling is the most ancient of the healing arts. The way of the storyteller is about more than just telling stories. At it’s core it is a way of seeing and interacting with the world through the stories that are constantly unfolding inside and around us.

Classic teaching stories remind us that our lives ebb and flow; always moving between our youth stories, that teach us to triumph; our mid-life stories, that help us to transform, and our elder stories that remind us that eventually triumph and transformation must give way to transcendence and acceptance.

In these Storytelling workshops we explore the path of the storyteller. Through classic stories we will look at how our own life stories can become our teaching stories, and how as teachers, parents and humans, storytelling helps us share the truth of our own experience. As part of unfolding our stories we will use Yin Yoga, body meditations and sacred sound to look within our own bodies at the places where we so often hold our deepest truths.

This training is a stand-alone training, and is open to anyone who has taken Taoism, Anatomy and Sequencing and Embracing the Yin Path as well as any dedicated yoga students or teachers who are interested in deepening their practice. If you haven’t studied with me before and plan on coming to the third module only, then I ask that you get a copy of The Yin Yoga Kit, and familiarize yourself with the basic concepts, and do some of the practices in the book or CD. The training is suitable for teachers and dedicated practitioners. You don’t need to be a teacher or even experienced in Yin, just come with an open heart and a willing mind."
